Ferlyn started her investment journey in 2018, fascinated in the world of equities ever since. She is a highly motivated person who is keen to further her skills and knowledge in the investment world.

As a newbie, we welcome her into our research team. A great addition!

Ferlyn also enjoys speaking to people from all walks of life, given how it is a great way to gain new perspectives on different subject matters.

On a more personal level, Ferlyn is someone who leads an active lifestyle. She was a competitive volleyball player in school. Today, she’s a yogi, a gymster, and she also likes to hike! Ferlyn is also thankful for the opportunity and ability to travel.

One final thing that most people don’t know about Ferlyn is that she’s a Microsoft Excel geek! Her go-to tool for almost everything.

Richard is intense, serious on the outside but warm and funny on the inside! That makes it so enjoyable to get to know him and you’ll never know what to expect! But seriously! Richard is the friendliest guy in our office, as our COO, he’s super cool and never takes anything too seriously. He’s never shy of a good laugh, he’s sociable and outgoing, always seeking a balance in everything he does.

Before joining us, Richard spent many boring years performing audits and regulatory compliance consulting. He now does it with us… and more!

Outside of work, you'll find him hanging out in cafes with friends. He is also an avid collector of pop culture memorabilia, from movies, TV, and video games.

Sudip’s life story,
“He set out to build smart machines, but the enigma of equity markets allured him to build portfolios instead.”

Sudip is passionate about Asia; he is fascinated by the region’s diversity and the multiple opportunities available. Being able to invests in Asia every day is something he cherishes and drives his passion.

Sudip’s experience has brought him through different economic cycles, this has helped him to hone his portfolio management skills, well-grounded on fundamental research.

Sudip is an avid learner and is always curious to learn a new skill. He is not averse to challenges and doesn’t shy away from assuming greater responsibilities. He’s on a mission to develop innovative investment solutions that translates our unique capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Sudip loves to cycle, hike, and walk. Exploring numerous nature reserves and parks in Singapore with family is his favourite pastime during weekends and that usually ends with a sumptuous feast!

Greta’s journey to us is somewhat dramatic. She was an IT developer, an IT product analyst, a project manager, and a full-time master’s student in finance, before finally landing on our shores to live out her dream and passion in investments, researching and analysing companies.

As an analyst, Greta is methodical, detailed and discipline in her process. Her joy is in searching for investment opportunities, talking, and meeting industry people, learn about companies and businesses, generating new ideas for the team. She sees herself as an explorer, always looking to discover, uncover and re-discover new things, catching up with the latest happenings.

Greta has a lovely Kiwi cat. Please ask her for pictures. She serenades her cat playing her violin! She is a couch potato and loves her food.

Akizawa-san as we call him is mad about investments! He enjoys checking out the latest investment trends, always creative in exploring ways to develop innovative solutions for our clients. He is passionate and driven in delivering value-added outcomes for our clients.

As the leader of our investments team, he is not only focus on our investment research, process and performance, Akizawa-san is all about people! He believes strongly, to deliver consistent outperformance, the team is most important…. it’s all about our people!

Outside the office, Akizawa-san is a devoted and doting father to his twin daughters. He also loves playing tennis and travelling.

Adrian is a foodie who loves to connect us through food. When he’s not with us, he is busy connecting people, engaging with clients, constantly searching for new opportunities for the firm.

Besides developing business, Adrian is strategy! He keeps us focused on the firm’s desired outcomes and end destination. He believes strongly in co-creation and teamwork. He is creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial in spirit. Analytical, reflective, and progressive, always challenging and encouraging us to be better for our clients.

Adrian loves a good laugh, spontaneous and cheeky. Outside of the office, Adrian is a retired rugger, a tennis junky and loves his walks. Weekends are filled with laughs with his four children. And yes, he loves his food too!

Winnie takes care of human resources, she is also by default an intelligence officer, our secrets are safe with her! More obvious is her heart towards us, always looking out for our welfare.

Winnie’s unassuming ways hide her true grit in dealing with problems, she takes on challenges without blinking and she treasures any opportunity to learn new things. She juggles many tasks like an octopus! Focus on her deadlines.

During her free time, her mood drives the occasion. Spending her time chilling quietly or belting out tunes at her favorite Car-la-ok! Winnie also loves to travel and the biggest secret…. she is a kick boxer!

Lance materialises our investment ideas and ensures money is made! As our trader, Lance is detailed, meticulous and disciplined day in day out. He’s like the soldier in our ranks, constantly monitoring our investment positions.

Lance always looks to have a positive impact with those around him. As he strives to contribute to the firm positively, Lance understands the importance of change, the constant need to improve. He is not afraid to try new things, always thinking of ways to do things better.

Lance is chill! He’s easy-going and open-minded. When he’s not at his desk, he’s exploring for great street food and local places to hang out, hence he works out a lot!

Roy, as a leader, is firm yet gentle, serious yet funny, always positive, and hopeful. He is like a father figure to all of us, shepherding us to grow and better ourselves.

With more than 35 years in finance, Roy has held many leadership positions globally. His experience is invaluable to us, he is a progressive leader that moves with the times. His purpose daily is to motivate and encourage us to progress through change. His door is always open and ever ready to impart his knowledge and share his insights.

Roy is fiercely proud of his hometown, Kyoto. Even though, he has only lived there for a third of his life. Having worked and lived in many countries, Roy immerses himself in the local cultures, he loves history, food and travelling.

Outside the office, he is outdoors cycling, exploring the city, always looking for new adventures.

Angie is more than dedicated! Her role as our Finance Chief is beyond essential, it’s critical! As our accountant, Angie handles our money and keeps us on a tight rope. Integrity is very important to her; her work ethic is gold class! She is trustworthy and reliable.

Angie is a strong believer in maintaining a culture of “Healthy Work Life Balance”. Besides handling our finances, she oversees our HR and office administration. She desires for us a place where our people can feel a sense of peace and harmony, a balance between their work and personal life. Angie wants us to be happy, when you’re happy, collaboration and teamwork flourishes! Long term friendships are built at the workplace.

For leisure, Angie is super chill, prefers staying at home, lazing around…napping! Active for her is watching K-drama and the occasional swim. She does enjoy her outings with her close friends, a good meal, and yes, vacation time!

Andrew is our resident cardiologist! As our tech guy and IT support, Andrew’s role is critical, the heartbeat of our operations. Without Andrew, we would be in bad shape and of course miserable, no one to turn too when things aren’t working!

Andrew’s role is under-stated and not fully appreciated. He goes about his days quietly in the background, diligent and unassuming. We always know he’s there for us, dependable and reliable. Andrew’s the most popular guy in our firm. His role requires loads of patience and Andrew defines patience, most of us get rather impatient and grumpy when we get tech issues! Andrew’s calmness allows him to problem solve, trouble shoot and resolve issues effortlessly, he’s a great project manager as well

Andrew is with us from Fujitsu Asia Pte. Ltd. Our firm’s long time IT partner.

During his free time, Andrew enjoys family time, especially with his kids. He also loves his leisure run or walk and exploring new and yummy makan places.

During office hours, Kasaya is married to MS Excel, nurturing infinite spreadsheets. He is always tinkering to improve our post trade processes or simply trying to make his spreadsheets run faster. If you ever need any advice on Excel, be prepared to be offered a myriad of solutions, you might get so confused and be muddled with more problems than when you started.

Outside of work, Kasaya is a professional athlete. He runs! Running after his children at random playgrounds and shopping malls.

Sneha has recently parachuted into our team. We are excited and pleased with her openness to join us!

Sneha thrives on understanding new businesses and learning new ideas. Always gaining new perspectives, passionate about investment research.

Sneha comes to us with more than 10 years of experience. Her career has led her to research companies of different market capitalizations, in different markets and sectors across different investment styles and strategies. The diversity in her experience has shaped her philosophy and approach to always be able to paint the big picture amidst the chaos of information. This allows her to attain and develop valuable insights into different businesses and evaluate their resulting valuation. Her strength and differentiation!

Curiosity is her second nature. Prior to joining us, she was intrigued by founders of start-ups, which eventually led her to work at one of Southeast Asia’s largest start-up. As an investment analyst, this experience has strengthened her tremendously.

In living out of the box, besides parachuting! Sneha’s aim is to learn 1 new activity each year, she is a certified yoga teacher…. Yoga classes to start in our office soon! In her quiet time, she is an avid reader, who enjoys fiction and non-fiction equally. Sneha also loves to hike, travel, and she’s someone who always has a story to tell! Justin is an investment warrior! 15 years in investment management, he has extensive experience in most major Asian markets. Most relevant to our industry today, Justin is passionate about ESG!

Justin’s career has helped him garner experience across different skill sets. He also has substantial experience in fund accounting and management, performance analysis and reporting, risk management, cash management and client advisory services. Justin is multilingual, he speaks Korean, Japanese, English and even Singlish! As a new member to the team, we look forward to having him contribute with his vast experience.

Justin is a confident, decisive, and articulate person, who enjoys working in a fast and energetic environment. He follows world events closely, rooted in capital markets and has an affinity for numbers. His rich multi-cultural experiences have been a major facet of his career.

Besides watching the markets, Justin enjoys martial arts such as kendo and becomes another addition to the growing boxing fans in our firm!

Chunyuan is an avid Liverpool FC fan for more than 20 years now. If he’s not dreaming about watching the Reds live in Anfield, he’s thinking of which café in the east he should visit during the weekends. “East side, best side”. Right?

Chunyuan has been involved in all areas of our business, in operations, investments and now in business development. He has played many roles, always full of energy, responsible and diligent. He goes about his work quietly, unassuming, and hardworking. Chunyuan is somewhat under rated, we don’t give him enough credit, but we are grateful to have him, an asset to the firm.

His greatest strengths are his receptiveness to new ideas, self-motivated and always eager to learn. He’s always game for new challenges and determined to improve and grow to be better. Chunyuan’s warm and calm demeanour allows him to build happy and fruitful client relationships.

In his free time, he plays basketball or tennis, K-drama marathons, or café hopping – in the east of course!

Arden held a strong belief that life is transient and should be lived out to its fullest. A passionate individual that can’t seem to rest on his laurels, he had travelled to more than 23 countries and counting many more to come.

A decade in the investment game, Arden sharpened his skills in the U.S. market before venturing into the bustling markets of Asia. His global travels aren't just for fun; they've honed his eye for unique business insights and cultural nuances, giving him an edge in the financial world.

Arden's a voracious reader too, devouring investment classics from 'The Intelligent Investor' to works by Warren Buffet and Jim Collins. When he's not navigating the stock market, he's exploring the world of Japanese cuisine, delighting in gourmet weekends with his family. And for a dose of action? He's all about sports - from basketball to Kendo. Arden's life is a thrilling mix of savvy investing, global exploration, and gastronomic adventures!

Introducing Cindy, our Rising Star! As our youngest team member, Cindy kicked off her career in accounting and this solid foundation paved the way for her seamless transition to an operations executive role with us.

Here with us, Cindy has not only mirrored her past skills but expanded her horizons, enhancing her abilities and broadening her perspective. She is a vibrant blend of innovation and dedication to process improvement, always eager to tackle challenges with fresh solutions.

In her free time, she's an avid creator of digital art, producing 2D and 3D artwork using Photoshop and Blender. These artistic endeavors are not just hobbies; they are reflections of her commitment to originality and personal fulfilment!

Meet Akiko, our Quant Extraordinaire with a zest for numbers and a passion for local cuisines! With 15 years of experience, Akiko started her career in Japan and moved to Singapore to develop her professional skills and embracing diverse experiences.

But wait, there's more to Akiko than just spreadsheets and algorithms! She's a true food adventurer, always on a quest for the next local delight.

Besides crunching numbers, her heart (and taste buds) holds a special place for the king of fruits - durian!
